"We won't be going back"

Often having passed by the entrance to La Stazione and being intrigued, my partner and I decided to take a chance today and have lunch at La Stazione. The atmosphere initially felt good and the service was prompt. We were very quickly put off however by the attitude of the head waiter (at least, I assume that's who he was) - I have never encountered such rude service in my life and we certainly won't be going back. There was a misunderstanding when our order was taken however the old adage "the customer is always right" clearly doesn't apply in La Stazione! Which is somewhat of a shame, as the food was ok and the price reasonable (for Cambridge). The automatic 10% service charge is cheeky to say the least, and what restaurant doesn't take credit cards these days - welcome to the 21st century guys! There are any number of places in Cambridge offering similar or better cuisine for the same price and with far more professional levels of service..
