A review of Music Village & Digital Village by Stuart Rumens written on Thursday 1st of May 2008
The first time you visit the Cambridge store your heart sinks. There's a bunch of people waiting to be served, and those that are being served just won't stop asking questions. And the staff just keep answering them. The whole place is full of people talking. And you think, "Jeez, I'm never going to get out of here." But then it dawns on you; when it comes to your turn you are going to get the same patient attention as these other guys. And you start to relax.
And the next time you visit, you're relaxed before you get to the door. It won't matter how many people are in front of you. If the whole Halle Orchestra is standing in line you'll wait, in the company of like-minded people, and take pleasure in this exemplary, unpressured service. If you don't get what you want at Cambridge, it won't be because nobody had time to listen to you.
