A review of MFI Furniture Centre by Belfast person written on Thursday 3rd of April 2008
Paid over 6000 for kitchen had it designed by mfi sales consultant day before kitchen was due problems started. Were informed by compnay that we would not have a sink for 4 weeks and a unit and filter. Informed them that this was not good enough as we have 3 small children refused delievery which you are in your legal right to do so, sink and unit put on special delievery arrived 3 days later. Were informed on the day of kitchen arriving that unit we had specifically ordered for a storage purpose would not fit in our kitchen as sales consultant made a mistake on planning kichen, the only whey we could fit this unit in was by cutting another unit. We accepted the kitchen because the manager of this store offered us good compensation and was very apolectic. My advice to other customers is to stand your ground make a fuss knew your legal rights because legally if a unit etc is not what you ordered or is damaged Mfi can be in breech of their contract.
As for their customer services no one answers the phone we on numerous occassions had to go down to the actual store because we could not get them on the phone so they really do need to employ some more people to answer their phones.
