A review of Thomson Reuters by D M Fluck written on Thursday 3rd of January 2008
Whenever you spot a particularly impressive bargain in a magazine you can bet that the shop selling this bargain will not have a branch in Cambridge! Primark is the best example of this. The old Habitat shop in Burleigh street would be an ideal location for a Primark. I know Cambridge is improving with the new John Lewis and the impending Grand Arcade but the improvements are all tailored for those with a decent income, with the possible exception of the new H&M. Other cities manage to strike a balance between prestige stores and shops for those of us that are financially challenged, why can't Cambridge? After visiting other cities in the UK Cambridge seems parochial and dull by comparison. This must change forthwith!.
