"CUSTOMERS CAN BE OFFENSIVE!"

Hello!

I am employed by B&Q and i have first hand experience of working with customers to sort out problems.

B&Q has a very fair returns policy which is abused daily.

Customers return goods from other stores. They swear at staff and think its ok to do so. They get angry if we dont have the stock- even though staff have no way of confirming when stock will come in.

They whistle and click their fingers at staff to get attention. They jum in between conversations between staff and customers when the member of staff is clearly busy with a customer. They attempt to return items that are out of warranty- then insult the staff when told it cannot be changed for this reason. They ask for a manager and report staff if they are answered back to.

These customers need to appreciate that we are human! We respect and we deserve to be respected.

I have excellent experience at B&Q and my wealth of experience has now enabled me to progress with my career in a similar role- I HAVE BEEN OFFERED A POSITION AT CHESTER ZOO FEEDING THE MONKEYS- AH! AT LAST, NOW I WILL GET THE RESPECT I DESERVE!.
