A review of Games & Puzzles by Clive written on Friday 13th of June 2003
This store used to be owned by the creepiest, Poe-esque toy shop owner you can imagine. I used to work on Green street and try to engage him in conversation about business - it seemed a real effort for him to the whole communication thing.
Now it's run by a young group who've made it a real game store - reminding me of a misspent youth in Dungeons & Starships in Birmingham. Top marks, guys'n'dolls!
If they haven't got it, they'll get it. If you just want to shoot the breeze, they're happy to oblige. 'Would love to play Paranoia with the staff one time..!.
