"Ida Darwin Staff Social Club"

I am afraid this place is drab to put it mildly. Not so bad if the lights are turned down late at night for a party but still pretty bleak I'm afraid. The bar staff vary and the members who use the place seem to consist of a few (and I mean a few) regulars.

The only good thing I can say about the place is that the booze is cheap!

It is I guess a bit what run down staff social clubs used to look like in the early 1970's.The real pity is that in the 1970's and 1980's this place was buzzing! All a bit sad really!

And yes, I am a member but really only on paper. .
