A review of The Castle by Gerald White written on Friday 1st of June 2007
The castle has been transformed into a classy bar with a huge chandelier as its centrepiece. The food is excellent although table space is at a premium on a busy saturday evening. Excellent multi language staff and Polite Door staff who take the time to ask if you want a table and make the effort to seat you. The doormans work not made easy with the close proximity of the younger set from the Regal Bar but they seem to keep a good sence of humour and balance in the place and when we left he hailed us a passing cab. An excellent end to a not so often night out in the city. Its a Gem in the city.
