A review of B & Q by B&Q Customer written on Thursday 17th of May 2007
I just had to laugh at the post from John Smith (B&Q employee for about 7 years)
I've included it below just incase it disappears.
Has John EVER been on any customer service training? If so, was he awake?
This attitude is exactly what people are complaining about. As customers, we know that B&Q staff don't manufacture the goods and we also know that some customers can be stupid, rude, ignorant and just plain not nice.
However, as a representative of B&Q, Mr John Woods should know that it is his job, as a person who interacts with customers, to allow the customer to have a pleasant experience whilst shopping so they might come back, tell friends, spend more money and ultimately keep B&Q going and Mr John Smith in a job.
I know you're only human John. I can forgive you for thinking ill of the customers, but don't let that stop you from being a thoroughly nice and helpful chappy on the shop floor. What you truly think of the customers... well, keep that to yourself and, under no circumstances, publish your thoughts on a website like this - you might find you don't make it to eight years.

I have been at B&Q for about 7-Years and i have never heard so many moans and groans for futile little problems.
"I dont really like that colour, can i have a different colour"- I am sorry Madam we only do it in Red.
"But it is too bright, do you have one a little less bright, moan,moan,moan!
No- Madam, I work here, would you like me to go upstairs and Manufacture one for you!
We work and we are all workers at B&Q Stores!
We DONT manufacture the Goods!
We DONT order the Goods!
Its not OUR fault when the Goods dont come in!
Its NOT our fault when the Goods dont Go Out!
Get a LIFE.
Think of our soldiers out in a war while you moan about your little Kitchens!
