A review of Midsummer House by Emma. written on Thursday 10th of May 2007
Had dinner again last week, restaurant was full, great ambiance and the tasting menu was a fantastic experience.
Unlike some previous reviews, found the staff helpful, friendly and relaxed. The manager made us feel special, the french waitress went through all the cheeses on the trolley and the wine waiter helped us choosing a good bottle for £45.00.
Have been to most 2 star michelin in England, Le Manoir, The Capital, Pied a terre, Petrus, Le Champignon Sauvage, the Square etc...and surely this one of the best. Go there to enjoy yourself and you will and let the staff guide you.
Seat down, relax, look at the beautiful surroundings and enjoy a great dining experience.
