A review of KFC by Joe in Essex written on Tuesday 27th of March 2007
Someone posted here that they couldn't find KFC's Original Recipe Kentucky Nuggets because they were discontinued long ago in most of the world, even the U.S. For anyone who hasn't had them before, they're much better than KFC's current Crispy Strips & Popcorn chicken because they appear to use Colonel Sanders original recipe of 11 herbs and spices, meaning they taste like Colonel Sanders Original Recipe Chicken, not like the current Crispy Strips, which taste nothing like Original Recipe chicken. So for those willing to travel, there are a few places the desperate fast food lover can still go to eat KFC's Original Recipe Kentucky Nuggets. KFC's Australian menu still lists them (or at least a 100% white meat version of them) as well as apparently the KFC in Islamabad! Where else you ask? Well, not many places to be honest, but if you're on the east coast of the U.S., there is still at least one KFC location that I know of that still sells Original Recipe Kentucky Nuggets. It's the KFC located just outside of Baltimore in Essex, Maryland, U.S., just a couple minutes away from the I-95/I-495 Baltimore Beltway interchange, just a short detour for anyone traveling in the main northeast I-95 corridor of the U.S..
