A review of La Raza by Hatchett Harry written on Monday 12th of February 2007
As a regular who gets to jump the queue can I would just like to say you're an idiot. Let's look at the facts. La Raza is a small venue that took quite a bit of time to establish. It can be VERY quiet in the week. A LARGE slice of their income income comes through the spending of a few dozen or so regulars who were there when it started and who still go there now REGULARLY. Between us we also offer LA Raza offer our services such. our numbers include musicians, DJ's and even security! I'm there 3 or 4 nights a week and I spend a significant amount of money there and I also bring many friends down with me. Now, if I was going to queue to up every Friday and Saturday would I go there anywhere near as often? Probably not, which is why clubs and bars reward their regulars with small perks such as queue jumps and cheaper/free entry. It's the way of the world and the way bars look after their own..
