A review of Rice House by Anonymous written on Sunday 26th of November 2006
The Rice House is a small, friendly, family business situated at the end of Tenison Road, on Mill Road. Only cash and cheques are accepted, but nevertheless if you forget to bring some cash, there is an ATM less than 1 minutes walk.
They have a very large menu- 250 dishes to choose from...you'll be spoilt for choice!
There is what you would expect to find in a chinese takeaway: sweet and sour chicken balls, egg fried rice, beef and black bean, vegetable satay...and there are also more adventourous dishes like: king prawns with almonds in bean sauce, singapore rice noodles (hot), salt and pepper squid (hot) and monks vegetables. With the large selection of choices, there is bound to be something on their menu which can tickle your taste-buds! A range of English dishes which include the good old chips, chicken nuggets and a selection of omelettes are availiable as well as banana, apple or pineapple fritters for desserts.
You really need to pay them a visit yourself to see all the dishes available as i've only stated a fraction of their menu! RECOMMENDED!!!
