A review of Boots by Boots written on Saturday 25th of November 2006
As a sales assistant in Boots for 5 years I feel like i should say something on the comments i have seen.Customers are getting worse.People seem to be in non stop hurry for some reason and it gets on my nerves. They rush in take as much time as they like to choose what they want,or just walk 2 the nearest staff member and demand to know where things are.then they go to a till and complain about anything they can.the way we talk, dress, look,if we say one thing wrong we get a complaint.I work hard and give good customer service always but still receive complaints that i dont say things the right way or look at customers at the right time.Im sorry but i dont get paid enough to receive rude remarks from people so i do find myself answerin back if someone says anything rude.but it seems to be all the time.i even train new staff who need training on tills and customers have absolutely no time or patience they just look at me as if to say "why dont you just do it".if i did then they would never get trained and there wouldnt be any staff at all!plus as a pregnant woman just trying to earn a living im gettin an awfull lot of people sayin "to save me looking....where is..."what about me??startin to wish i was workin in an office or somethin away from the general public who seem to be horrible.christmas makes no difference at all.peace and goodwill?ha.complaints and sarcastic remarks is all i expect.so spare a thought for sales assistants this christmas,if your nice to them theyre nice to you cos they are gratefull to see a smiling face, consider your facial expressions as you are being served cos workin in boots the staff are proud to give such good offers and points to people and all we ask is a little gratitude or atleast pleasentness!nothing personal..
