A review of The Green Dragon by Anonymouse written on Wednesday 27th of September 2006
I went to the green draggon pub in chesterton today and had the most awful humiliating experiences, i went in for a brief drink with my friend and my daughter before we went to pick up our sons from school, it does say quite clearly on the door that kids should be under strict supervision, my daughter being 3 has grown up in a public environment so she knows how to behave, we were sat talking having purchased our drinks, my friend has had quite a traumatic experience in the last week so we got quite in to our conversation my daughter drinking her juice, the next thing i herd this voice saying non too happy "can you keep your child under control", my friend said "how rude" because of the turn of voice that he used, unbeknown to us she had walked to opposite of where we was sat and sat on a high stool, as my friend said "how rude" a womans voice piped up in the background, saying it does say on the door quite clearly that it does say that children should be supervised. i apologised and said that we were talking and didnt realise she had wondered a couple of feet, I thought that this behaviour was unnaceptable it was the way that i was spoken to that i felt victamised, nothing was said after but if i was aproached in a calming manor maybe i wouldnt be writing this review, what makes it worse in my eyes that it wasnt the management or bar staff that spoke to us in this apauling manor but a customer my point is none of the staff aproached us to offer a an explanation or a apology, it was quite loud for everyone to here, it is totaly unacceptable, point being i shouldnt of been spoken to by a member of the public she had only wondered accross the way, we deserverd a shread of respect, why was the customers taking it apon them selves to talk to me like that, its word of mouth that does any place justice,.
