"Ice cubes"

We took a friend out to eat in Cambridge last weekend and she fancied the look of la galleria. My veg terrine had ice crystals in it and the melba toast came out of a packet and were not even fresh. We waited and waited for our main course to arrive and in the end had to go inside to sit as it had become too cold to eat outside. We waited nearly an hour in total and when my food arrived – tuna with crushed potatoes and celery salad – I was horrified to find that it was tuna with celery and crushed potato salad and this too had come straight out of an overly cold fridge. Yes, they did change it and yes they did give me the glass of wine, which I asked for telling them I wouldn’t be paying for it but does anyone enjoy eating on their own when everyone else has finished. Go again? No way. Over priced rubish.
