A review of The Waterside by M Henry written on Monday 5th of May 2003
They've spent a few bob on the interior, but unfortuantely not on the chef. I've eaten four or five dishes here and everyone has been bland and uninventive at best. Their idea of a salad is some chopped up pieces of lettuce with a couple of tomatoes on top - I've eaten better salads at a service station. And considering the mediocrity of the food, the prices are extortionate - you can pay £13 for a dish and not even get any vegetables.
