A review of CB2 by Kadia written on Tuesday 25th of July 2006
CB2 has many functions. I've had celebratory dinners here, I've been for a romantic meal, a snack with friends and we go most regularly for drinks and desserts after our dance class.
It's not the most cheapest place, but I like the atmosphere and I've never felt as if they're rushing me, even when we haven't ordered food.
Food itself is nice, though possibly a little on the expensive side. The desserts come highly recommended, as do the milkshakes.
As the other reviews suggest, service can be patchy. Particulary when it is busy, it's best not to be in a hurry and don't take a stressed server too personally. On the other hand, staff are generally pleased to do anything that you want (no cream on the Malteser sundae? OK. You want to combine chocolate and strawberry milkshakes? Fine)..
