A review of The Perse Upper School by scholarship boy written on Saturday 3rd of May 2003
I attended the Perse School as a scholarship boy in the late 1960s and early 1970s and I have to say that I recognise much of what has been said above . The school at that time was passing from a period of stagnation due to the new Head and the move from Free School Lane
I was bitterly unhappy there , being looked down on by just about everyone
the drugs scene was small but a real issue in my time
you were either on the 'Oxbridge List' or they couldn't care less about you .
