A review of The Gardenia by Miss Nicola written on Friday 21st of April 2006
In every other take away the veggie burger is a grudging afterthought but at Gardenia it's an art form! I've been going here for years and the service is always friendly and efficient and the food is wonderful, I've only ever had one slight disapointment here and even then the rest of the meal was fantastic. Even grumpy vegetarians like me have a wide range of tasty options, unlike at McBas*ards who are a few doors along, who I consider to be a blight on Rose Crenscent! It's a shame that Gardenia have to struggle to stay open, not due to lack of custom but due to property developers from what I hear. Despite the excellent food it just wouldn't be the same anywhere else.
So when you're staggering along the cobblestones in your stilettos like Elsie Tanner after too many G&T's, head for Gardenia, you won't be disapointed! .
