A review of Côte Brasserie by E C Hackett written on Monday 12th of December 2005
December 1st 2005, a friend and I chose Garfunkels to eat before our journey home to King's Lynn. We were in rather a hurry as my daughter and her friend were eating elsewhere in Chapelfield. We asked a member of staff what the waiting time would be and she told us 15 - 20 minutes.
We were shown to our table at 7:40 and we ordered our food. Our meal eventually arrived at 8:35 despite several requests to have our food as soon as possible.
Whilst waiting, we watched a non-uniformed member of staff leaning across the hot plate to see where the orders were. Whilst leaning across the food, she caught her hair on the hot lights and singed it. She then began brushing through her hair with her fingers.......over the top of the food.
